We have been familiar with the sense of humor of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recently, the famous wrestler Sakshi Malik also got a chance to witness the same.
Sakshi has been very busy since she returned from Rio de Janeiro on August 24, where she participated in Olympics and made the country proud by winning the bronze medal in wrestling.
Sakshi met the PM of India on Sunday, one day before getting the Khel Ratna award from the President Pranab Mukherjee. When asked about the meeting with PM Modi, she said, “Unhone (Modi) mujhse poocha ki ‘Maarogi toh nahi’ (He asked me hope I won’t hit him).”
Sakshi’s response was, “I told him ‘Sir I am wrestler only when I am on the mat but outside it, I am just like any other girl’.”
The unending felicitation ceremonies are making Sakshi tired and this can be understood by just taking a look at her face but she is still enjoying them and trying to take rest between the events. Well, she deserves all the respect and honor as she is the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal in Olympics.

On Sunday morning, she also met the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in Hyderabad and there she was gifted with a BMW X1.
She said, “Obviously, it’s great to meet all these legends of sport like Sachin sir and Sehwag sir. I am enjoying but soon I will be back to my training and will continue to do what I do best.”
