Every Indian is rejoicing Sakshi Malik’s win at the Rio Olympics. Yes, finally Sakshi has won a bronze medal in Women’s Freestyle 58kg category, thereby putting an end to metal drought for the country. The entire country is busy praising her for her do-or-die attitude. We also saw how people left congratulatory tweets for Sakshi on their Twitter account! PM Modi, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Amitabh Bachchan and other biggies were super-happy with her performance.
The main highlight of the match was how Sakshi turned the numbers from 0-5 to 8-5. Now after this brilliant performance, imagine how happy her mother must be. Just like every other mother, she was extremely proud of her daughter’s achievement and her joy knew no bounds.
When a reporter asked Sakshi’s mother Sudesh Malik, about her reaction to this, she wasn’t able to express her joy in words. She told something about Sakshi which would give you Goosebumps. Well, Sudesh disclosed a conversation which she had with Sakshi after the win. Aren’t you curious to know?
Sakshi’s mom asked her if she was tired after so much of practice and so many matches. Sakshi’s reply to this question shows how dedicated she is to the country.
She replied “Nobody Feels Tired After Winning A Medal For The Country”.
Aren’t you short of words hearing this reply? Well, Sakshi took 12 good years for achieving her dreams. Her family was a strong support to her even though were many hurdles in her way. Sakshi’s victory has definitely set a good example for all those women who feel they lag behind.
Sakshi’s mother also said “India’s daughter ended India’s medal drought. And we can’t be any happier.”
