The appointment of Salman Khan as Indian Olympic’s Ambassador triggered a controversy with Milkha Singh, the sprint legend and Yogeshwar Dutt, the wrestler, questioning the move. However, this move was praised by Mary Kom, Sardar Singh and Abhinav Bindra.
Following are the tweets by Yogeshwar against Salman:
His 1st tweet venting the anger!

Even Milkha Singh wanted to get this decision revised. He stated that “I want to make it clear that I am not against Salman Khan, but the decision of the IOA is wrong and the Government should intervene in the matter.” Milkha further added that this was the 1st time he was seeing an actor being made a Olympics’ goodwill ambassador. He further questioned that was anytime a sportsperson made an ambassador for Bollywood’s mega event?
However Salim Khan, Salman’s father lashed out at Milkha Singh for this comment of his, that stated that Bollywood stars aren’t needed as ambassadors. Have a look at the series of tweets by Salim !
