Sania Mirza Reveals During Dating, She Clarified Shoaib, “I’ll Support India No Matter What”

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik make one of the most popular couples of the sports world despite the fact that they both represent different countries in different sports. In fact, they were heavily slammed as well when they decided to tie the knot because India and Pakistan are not on good terms for quite a long time now. While Sania is an Indian tennis player, Shoaib is a Pakistani cricketer and now it has been almost a decade that they have been together as husband and wife. The couple also has a son whom they have named as Izhan Mirza Malik; he was born in 2018 and since then, Sania has taken a break from tennis.

Shoaib is presently in England as Pakistan will be playing a three match T20 series against England starting August 28. Recently while talking to a sports portal, Sania Mirza talked about the old times and shared some beautiful moments with her fans. She states that her relationship with Shoaib is quite enjoyable and it is the first time people come to know that Shoaib talks more than her. She also reveals that they used to have friendly banters in regard to supporting their own countries when they faced each other on the ground.

As per Sania, Shoaib loved playing against India so during their dating period whenever they used to talk about it, she made it clear that she would support India no matter what and he used to tell her that his record against India is the best. She further added that Shoaib has been playing for quite long and he has had a great career.

It is true that Shoaib’s statistics are brilliant against India as the veteran cricketer has played 42 ODIs against India and scored 1782 runs including 4 tons. Shoaib’s average against India is 46.89 and the top score that he made against India is 143 which he made in Colombo.

It is commendable on the part of the couple that they have managed their relationship very well despite the fact that their countries are at loggerheads.
