Sania Mirza Trolled Badly For Congratulating Pakistan After India-Pak Final

Sania Mirza Trolled Badly For Congratulating Pakistan After India-Pak Final

A strange co-incidence took place on 18th June; India defeated Pakistan in London while India also got defeated by Pakistan in the same city. India attained victory over Pakistan in the hockey match in the Hockey World League semi-finals by 7-1 while lost in the cricket match of the finals of ICC Champions Trophy.

Sania Mirza who is an Indian sportsperson but married to a Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik for last eight years took the opportunity to congratulate both the countries on their victories.

She took to Twitter and wrote, “India lost the cricket but won in hockey against Pak. Congratulations Team India and congratulations Team Pakistan! Sport is a great leveller!”

Soon Twitterati started trolling her for being diplomatic and hate tweets started pouring in! Check out some of the reactions:

A jibe at Shoaib Malik:

Double meaning 😉

Don’t be diplomatic:

We have politicians for that:

Are you joining politics?

Stop being double standard:

Hate tweets:

You are a Pakistani:

Go and make sevaiyan in Pakistan:

Make your stand clear!

You never tweet against Pakistan:

India’s admiration doesn’t suit you!

No comparison can be made between the two sports!

You tried to save both sasural and maika with your diplomatic tweet:

Aren’t you happy for your husband?

What do you have to say in this regard?
