Pakistani cricketers have the reputation of being unpredictable on the field as they experienced a humiliating defeat against India in ICC Champions Trophy but they managed to defeat the South African team on Wednesday, which is presently no. 1 team of the world, and kept their hopes of semi-final alive.
However, one thing that can be predicted to a great extent about the Pakistani cricketers is their poor English. Once again, we got to see the Pak captain Sarfraz Ahmed fumbling while speaking at the press conference when he was trying to answer a question in English.
When he was asked about the difference in the performances of his team in matches with India and South Africa, he said, “I think today one of the differences was our bowling and our fielding.” After this, a reporter asked as to what he did to make their fielding better and in response to this question, the Pakistani captain said, “Actually we did nothing.”
As he gave this response, all the reporters started laughing and Sarfraz too laughed, as he was in a good mood after his team’s wonderful performance.
