There are few animals which are normally friendly in nature but still caution should be practiced while dealing with them, especially if kids are with you.
A video is going viral on the Internet, showing a sea lion dragging a little girl into water, holding her by dress. It further shows how a family member brings the little girl out of the water. The incident took place at Steveston Fisherman Wharf in Richmond, Canada.
It so happened that some tourists were looking at the sea lion which came close to the pier. A little girl also came to see the animal with her family and out of excitement, she sat on the pier. This is when, all of a sudden, the animal jumped and pulled her into the water.
As the girl fell, the people present there got into a panic state and one man jumped into water immediately to save her. The man is said to be a family member of the girl; nevertheless, after this incident, she didn’t stay there even for a minute and walked away in a completely shocked condition.

Michael Fujiwara was shooting the animal before the frightful happening and he also recorded the complete incident. This is what he told Vancouver Sun,
“The sea lion actually attracted a lot of attention from the visitors there, including the young girl. She and her family, I guess, they came, they started feeding the animal bread crumbs or whatever it was, and then I guess the animal got a little too comfortable.”
Our advice for everybody is to keep a distance with the animals even if you are sure that the animal is harmless.
