Will the tagline be ever different one day? Will there be one day in our so called “Incredible India” without rapes? The answer is a big “No”. I mean we can’t expect such a day in some country where politicians blame women for getting raped.
The first news is from Ahmedabad where a young-man sexually-harassed and then inserted an iron rod into the private parts of a “six-year old girl.” The girl’s father, originally from of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh, is a worker at a construction area near the Sola flyover. In his complaint, he said that his little daughter came home crying on Friday. When he further asked her the reason behind her crying, the girl said to him that a security guard took her to the basement and harassed her, beat her and then finally inserted an iron rod in her private parts. The name of the security guard is Kaushal Chauhan. After getting arrested, Chauhan said to the Police that he had some dispute with the girl’s father and did all this to teach him a lesson.
In another incident, a 23-year old woman got gang-raped at a area near Raj Guru Nagar locality in Ludhiana. The shameful incident took place while she was returning home after meeting a female-friend. As per her complaint, a car stopped near her and the men inside the car took her inside the car forcefully. She said there were three men inside the car and two of them raped her while the vehicle was in motion all the time. Later the rapists dropped her near the same place. Medical examination confirmed her statement. Police did locate the suspected car from the CCTV footage.
