The ratings given by IMDb are considered more reliable as they are given on the basis of voting done by their regular voters. In fact they don’t just take the arithmetic mean of the votes, they calculate a weighted rating using a formula and only votes of regular voters are considered for the purpose.

Airlift is based on the real story of India’s biggest evacuation operation which was carried out in Kuwait to bring 1.70 lakh countrymen back home after Kuwait was invaded by Iraq. This movie is a tribute to all those few Kuwait based Indians who made it possible for homeless and helpless Indians to leave Kuwait and come back to India.
