Sehwag Asks Twitter If DLS Method Works For Office Employees In Rains. Responses Are Hilarious

There is no denying the fact that former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has a great sense of humour and his wittiness is often visible in his posts on social media networks, especially on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Many cricket lovers are not happy with the manner in which the matches of cricket World Cup 2019 have been hampered due to rains. The first semi-final which was played between India and New Zealand was also stopped due to rain with New Zealand batting first and scoring 211/5 in 46.1 overs. The match will resume on the reserve day but if the rain still spoils the match, Duckworth-Lewis method will come into play. As per DLS method, the target will be revised for India if they will be able to bat in the match.

Viru took a funny dig at DLS method by asking people whether it will be helpful for the employees in increasing their salary in the rainy season as they face problems in reaching office during rains. He specifically asked the opinion of Human Resources staff about it.

Here is what Sehwag tweeted,

“Will it be advantage employees if Salary is given by Duckworth Lewis in rainy months. If baarish mein bhi employee is coming to office. What do HR log think?”

Till the time the article was written, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and K L Rahul were on the crease as New Zealand has given a target of 240 to India. Let’s cross our fingers and pray that rain doesn’t spoil today’s match.
