The Indian cricket fans are very happy today as India has won the Gavaskar-Border Trophy, defeating Australia by 8 wickets in the final test match played at Dharamshala, thereby winning the series too by 2-1.
This series was bound to be an exciting one, as the stakes are always high when India and Australia compete against each other. This can be understood by the fact that mind games started even before the Australian team landed in India and during the series also, there were many instances which proved that neither of the sides had any problem in using other tactics too for winning the match.
Now as Indians have emerged as the winners, the Twitter king and former Indian cricket player, Virender Sehwag, took to Twitter, not just to express his happiness but also to give some awards to the players. Yes, that’s right! He has named his awards as #ViruGhareluAwards and included Australian captain Steve Smith also in the list.
