Bollywood is undoubtedly one of the best industries as far as name, fame and money are concerned and any successful actor here earns in millions in a year. Recently, Forbes magazine has revealed that renowned B-Town stars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan have made it to the list of the “World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities”. Amazing, isn’t it?
It was on Monday that Forbes magazine released this list and as per it, King Khan is on the top position as far as Indians are concerned. His income in the year 2016 was approximately Rs 245 crore ($38 million) and got the 65th rank. On the career grounds, he did two films last year – “Dear Zindagi” and “Fan” along with a cameo in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
Talking about Salman Khan, his “Sultan” released last year which enabled him to grab the 71st rank with an income of nearly Rs 238 crore ($37 million).
And now comes the turn of Akshay Khiladi Kumar who appeared in three movies in 2016 – “Airlift”, “Rustom” and “Housefull 3”. He grabbed the 80th position and earned almost Rs 228 crore ($35.5 million).
As of the topper, Sean Combs, American songwriter, rapper and singer, is on the 1st spot with an income of about Rs 837 crore ($130 million) while the second position has been secured by Beyonce Knowles who earned approximately Rs 676 crore ($105 million).
Earlier we informed you that Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is also featured in the list and has got the 89th rank, as his income was about Rs 141 crore ($22 million) last year.
