Shahid Kapoor starrer “Kabir Singh” is one of the biggest hits of 2019. The flick is going strong on the box-office even after entering the Rs 250 crore club and as per the trade analysts, it will cross the Rs 275 crore mark soon. The lead actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani have been praised a lot for their performances and this movie is definitely a milestone for both the actors as far as their careers are concerned.

“Kabir Singh” is the remake of Telugu movie “Arjun Reddy” and both the versions are directed by Sandeep Vanga. The film has been liked by audiences despite the fact that the hero has dark shades; nevertheless, many people condemned it as well for showing violence against women.

Other than “Kabir Singh”, Vicky Kaushal starrer “Uri: The Surgical Strike” has also performed superbly on the box-office.

When Shahid was asked to compare the two lead actors of both the movies, he said that while Major Vihan Shergill, the lead actor of “Uri: The Surgical Strike” was a perfect person, the lead character of “Kabir Singh” was completely opposite to him and he was the most flawed character.

The hero of “Kabir Singh” starts destroying himself after his girlfriend marries someone else. As per Shahid, it is the most imperfect character that he has ever played in his life. In fact, he is of the opinion that it is the most flawed character that Bollywood has ever portrayed and he is very thankful to viewers for giving love to such a negative character.
