Things have become worse for Shami because his wife Hasin Jahan has put some serious blames on him. She had accused him not only having multiple extra-marital affairs but also of fixing matches.
The matter became controversial and hit the headlines. However, many cricketers have said that Shami is a good guy and can no way be involved in match fixing.
Dhoni said that Shami is a guy with good heart; however, he didn’t make any comments because he felt it was Shami’s personal matter. Even Kapil Dev came in support of Shami.
Finally, Shami was questioned about this match fixing. On this, he said,
“Let all the people of the country, BCCI come together to investigate the matter. The Indian cricket board canceled my annual contract in a rush. I have played the game in free and fair manner.”
However, while answering the question, Shami just couldn’t control his tears. He also said,
“I don’t want to ruin the life of my daughter, that’s why trying my best to save my relationship.”
