This year, Bollywood has lost many gems. Om Puri, Reema Lagoo and Vinod Khanna left the world this year and after them, it’s veteran actor Shashi Kapoor, who passed away today at the age of 79.

This is the saddest news of the day as we have lost another legend. Ranbir Kapoor’s grandfather Shashi Kapoor was unwell since a long period of time and today, he breathed his last.

Also, Shashi Kapoor was the 3rd member of the family to receive the highest awards in the industry, the first two being Raj Kapoor and Prithviraj Kapoor.

We still remember his biggies Namak Halal, Silsila, Deewar and Kabhi Kabhi. May his soul rest in peace; we will miss you a lot sir!
