Recently, there was news that Shilpa Shinde of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain was banned by CINTAA. She had also put blames on the show’s makers for mentally torturing her. Few days after this, she spoke up and bashed CINTAA and the makers at a Press Conference, stating no one could ban her from working. She also stated that CINTAA and the makers were no one to ban her. She also got support from her fans on social media.
This was all fake!
However, whatever Shilpa Shinde stated was false and she wasn’t BANNED. However, this was done only for gaining sympathy. Amit Behl, a Joint Secretary from CINTAA stated that it was just non cooperation directive and not a BAN.
A notice from the producer!
Binaifer Kohli, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’s producer issued her a notice for working or getting sued, after Shilpa didn’t report to the sets. Shilpa wanted to be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show but it wasn’t possible with the exclusivity contract. She made attempts for getting this clause removed, but the channel didn’t agree. She gave reasons and stopped coming to the sets.
Shilpa approached CINTAA herself!
When Shilpa approached CINTAA, the committee asked her to join back the work, which made her more furious. She claimed that Benaifer had brought the members of CINTAA and hence the decision. The actress had also called for meetings but she herself didn’t attend them. Amit Behl further says that everyone else except Shilpa had come to the table for working out an amicable situation. This shows that Shilpa was eager to leave the show in whatever way possible.
Finally, CINTAA took the decision and told Shilpa to either be present on the show or pay up for the losses. Shilpa claimed that the makers are being favored by CINTAA and are trying to extort around 15 crores, when they haven’t paid Shilpa for close to 3 months. The amount which they hold is close to 30 lakhs says Shilpa. However, the producer of the show said that Shilpa has been paid in advance, even for the month which she didn’t work.
