It’s the turn of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, Pakistani actors who are targeted this time, to be banned by Shiv Sena after Ghulam Ali. Shiv Sena seems to be determined for not letting them carry out the promotion of upcoming movies in the state of Maharashtra. Talking about Mahira, she is on the brink of making debut in Hindi Cinema with “Raees” wherein she will be starred with SRK. To quote what Akshay Bardapurkar, Chitrapat Sena general secretary, has to say in this connection, “We have taken a stand not to allow any Pakistani actor, cricketer or performer to step on Maharashtra soil,” as reported by emirates247.com.
He further stated, “We are not really bothered about who is signing these Pakistanis in their films. Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan etc. are responsible citizens and they should not cast Pakistanis in their film.” “Raees” is scheduled to release in the year 2016 on the occasion of Eid and will also star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
