Shiv Sena Criticizes PM Narendra Modi Over Demonetization Of Notes! Here’s What They Said!

The ban on Rs 500-1000 notes is the bravest move taken by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with the black money which is present in excess in our country. This ban will haunt the nights of all those who earn money by illegal means and stash the black money. People who are in the possession of the black money have a lot to lose now. Black money and corruption are the biggest obstacles in eradicating poverty from the nation.

This decision has created some short term problems, causing convenience among the people, but this demonetization will only prove to be beneficial in the long run. Many people, politicians calling it a historic step taken to deal with the black money present in the country. The opposition parties are criticizing Modi for taking such a drastic step, call it ‘theatrical’, ‘impulsive’, but this move is very well planned and well thought.

The BJP ally Shiv Sena said that we’ll have to see how far does Modi’s demonetization goes in stopping the black money and the fake currency which is dispersed in the country. Corruption cannot be stopped by changing the currency, it’s a wicked thought which can be stopped only by changing the mindset of the people.

BJP ally Shiv Sena in the state government wrote in Saamana.

Modi had last month conducted a sudden surgical strike against Pakistani terror launch pads and now this strike against black money. The second strike has caused chaos among the masses as this strike too was sudden.

There have been numerous attempts made in the past to stop illicit trade, but none proved to be completely successful. Will this step be successful in stopping the illicit trade?

Shiv Sena said that the people and political parties are now raising questions about Modi’s promise of bringing back black money from abroad. What about the 15 lakh rupees that you promised to deposit in bank accounts of Indians? Shiv Sena further wrote in Saamna,

Modi answered the question in his style by demonetising Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes. Only time will tell if the government is able to achieve its objectives by doing so. The truth is that this decision will have far-reaching effects on the Indian economy. It was being said that the surgical strike against Pakistan was meant to tighten our grip over the neighbouring nation. But, firing, ceasefire violations are on at the borders ever since the strike. Demonetising currency was the second strike but if it actually pays dividends, only time will tell.

So guys, what do you think? Do you think our PM Narendra Modi made the right move by demontising Rs 500-1000 notes? Feel free to share your views and opinions in the comments.
