Have you ever seen or heard of any such case where twins have different fathers? Answer naturally has to be NO, because it’s something beyond our thinking and belief. But this strange thing has happened in reality, which will shock you to the core! The news comes from New Jersey wherein a paternity case that includes a set of twins took an astounding turn, leaving everyone bewildered and amazed. At the same time, it would not be wrong to say that if a daily soap or movie had this type of end, it would have been Superhit!
A lady from United States applied for making the guy disburse child support who is supposed to be the father of her twin babies was left in shock after discovering that this man had only one child of the two and the other one was from a different father.
This lady who is known merely with the name of “TM” in court documents wanted to get some support from her daughters’ father called “AS” and for the same, made her way to Board of Social Services where she talked of one guy being indulged. According to her, this man is accountable for paying child support being a father of the twins whose birth took place in 2003.
Therefore, “AS” was asked for undertaking a DNA paternity test in which a strange medical fact came into light. As per the test reports, TM was revealed to have physical relationship with one more unknown guy at the same time as she was with AS and the other daughter is from that unidentified man.
Hence, on Monday, a judge lined that AS is responsible for one of the twin daughters and will pay just for her. Later, TM gave a statement in which she affirmed of having relations with the two so-called guys in the duration of around one week. As ordered by the judge, AS owes $28 on a weekly basis.
Speaking of this case, it is not very common or is rather exceptional for a lady to bring forth twins who are not from one father. It was briefed by Sohail Mohammed, Passaic County Superior Court Judge, that he came across two more cases on a national scale related to these kinds of issues.
As far as occurrence of this unusual incident is concerned, it may take place if a female has intercourse with two different males during one menstrual cycle and the two eggs get separately fertilized by each male.
