Even in this time such situations happen across many parts of India. And NDTV took the initiative to see what would be the reaction of the people if they saw such biased behavior on road. In a crowded street of, they carried out an act where the mother went out with her son and daughter, wherein she mistreated her daughter while pampered her son.
Thankfully, some onlookers saw this and reacted. This proves that the Indian does feel this discrimination is wrong, and won’t accept it under any circumstances.
But people who believes that daughters are liability, unnecessary responsibility, & a “bojh” (burden) to the family. Are you listening?
