Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani gave an explosive and emotional speech in Lok Sabha which shook all the members present there. It was no less than a slap on the face of opposition who targeted Irani for Rohith Vemula’s suicide as well as accused her of saffronising the country’s education system.
Here’s her shocking speech with regard to JNU row in which she pleaded, “shiksha ko ranbhoomi mat banao”:

She also slammed Rahul Gandhi saying that he tried to seek benefit from this and visited the hostel twice which is surely something he never did previously. Didn’t he feel the need to visit when 600 students lost their lives in the Telangana movement? She further added that even though Rohit did not blame anyone, Rahul Gandhi made an attempt of using him as a tool in politics.
In her words, “Rohith blamed no one, yet Rahul tried to use this child as a political tool. The child in his suicide note said that no one is responsible for my death, yet you seek to use this child for your own political ends. That is the tragedy. The people who espouse the cause of free speech and attack this government, who say we are anti-minority, anti-Dalit, anti-tribal and time and again, they’ve been requested to not make it ‘us against them’. I am not certifying your patriotism, but do not demean mine. I am not certifying your idea of India, but do not demean mine.”

Even Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor who is very active on social media could not stop himself from praising the HRD Minister Smriti Irani for her mind-blowing Lok Sabha speech. This is what he tweeted:
