Darshan Kabra, a man from Aundh, Pune, oredered two iPhone 4s from Snapdeal on 7th of December. The order no. is 3862653450. He chose “Cash On Delivery” option for the order. When the delivery boy came to his house on 11th of December to hand him those iPhones, he opened the box in front of the delivery boy and to his surprise, he found pieces of wood and stones inside the box instead of the iPhones.
He said to TOI, “Normally, the delivery guys don’t let anyone open the box without payment. However I insisted on opening before handing over the cash. Since it was cash on delivery, I got saved. Please warn the public about such frauds.”
This is really serious and shocking issue. Snapdeal is known for it’s blunders. We earlier saw a case where Man Orders Pendrive, Never Gets It. We need justice in this case as it is day time fraud with genuine customers. There should be some strict law else customer will not be able to shop online.
