The southern actor Naga Chaitanya got engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala and the good news was shared by Naga Chaitnaya’s father and southern superstar Nagarjuna. As the news got circulated, an old video of Sobhita Dhulipala also started going viral.
In this video, Sobhita is seen talking about actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife. Sobhita is full of praises for Samantha and she has called her journey super cool.
The video was shot during the promotions of “The Night Manager – Part II” and the interviewer asked Sobhita to tell one thing that she admires about the actors named by the interviewer which also included Naga Chaitanya.
While talking about Samantha, Sobhita said, “I think her journey is super cool. If you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, it’s really cool.”
And this is what she said about Naga Chaitanya, “I think his temperament to… I think he’s such a cool-headed, calm guy. So dignified. I really appreciate it.”

After the engagement, Nagarjuna admitted that his son Naga Chaitanya used to be depressed post separation from Samantha but now he is happy and smiling again after finding love in Sobhita Dhulipala.
Nagarjuna shared photos from the engagement ceremony with the caption, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married in 2017 but they parted ways after four years in 2021. While there were rumours of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala dating each other, the couple preferred not to talk about their relationship in public.
The engagement ceremony was organized at Nagarjuna’s house and it was a private affair which was attended by the family members only.
