However, fraudsters are also coming up with new ways of cheating people and one of them is to create a fake website of a bank and send messages to people, asking them to click on the link in order to update their PAN as their bank account has been disabled.

Usually, a person should not click on such links and delete the message as he gets it but one guy thought of having some fun so when he got such a message, he agreed to click on the link but then he replied to the scammer that he easily understood that it was a fake site and then he made an offer to the scammer by messaging him that he is a software engineer and he can help him redesign the page.

The scammer got trapped and even got ready to pay Rs. 20K to the person for redesigning the website which looked exactly like the real one and asked the man to send a sample on WhatsApp.

It didn’t stop here as the man sent a video of another fake website to the scammer and the latter got so impressed that he tried to call the person which he didn’t receive.

However, the scammer later sent a message to the person after his call wasn’t picked up and the man told him that he would call tomorrow as he was busy in a business meeting.

It will be interesting to see how far it will go but we will certainly like the scammer to learn a lesson so that he stops indulging in such unfair activities. What do you say?
