The famous Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has once again done something which proves that he is in no mood to end the controversy related to him and the voice of Azaan coming from the loudspeaker of the mosque.
On 19th April, Sonu raised his voice against the use of loudspeakers in the religious places and he cited his own example as he told that he was not a Muslim but he was not able to sleep due to the voice of Azaan coming from a mosque nearby, early in the morning. Some supported him while there were few who were against the singer. One maulvi also issued a fatwa against Sonu and announced that whoever would make Sonu wear garland of shoes and shave his head would be given the award of Rs. 10 Lakh.
Sonu took the matter to a new level by getting his head shaved in a press conference and demanded Rs. 10 Lakh; however, the maulvi refused to pay.
Today morning, Sonu recorded the voice of Azaan which could be heard from his house and uploaded it on Twitter just to prove how loud it was.
