Luv Ranjan has given the film industry some amazing movies like “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” series and “Akaash Vani”. Once again, he is back with a comedy drama entitled “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles.
Even though the flick had slow start on the box office and earned just Rs 6.25 crore on the opening day, it showed a considerable growth of 45% on the second day and collected Rs 9 crore. Taking into account the same, its collections were expected to improve on the first weekend.
Talking about the third day collections of “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”, the flick collected Rs 10.81 crore on Sunday. We must say that the word of mouth helped a great deal and resulted in the SKTKS’s good earnings on its first weekend, as the total collections of the movie so far is Rs 26.06 crore.
Day 1 – Rs 6.25 crore
Day 2 – Rs 9 crore
Day 3 – Rs 10.81 crore
Total – Rs 26.06 crore
Earlier Taran Adarsh tweeted that there are good chances for the movie to continue good collections even on weekdays as the word of mouth is super strong.

Even more amazingly, it’s among the top 3 movies when it comes to opening weekend collections, the first being “Padmaavat” with Rs 114 crore (extended weekend) and the second is Akshay Kumar’s “PadMan” which collected Rs 40.05 crore.
Well, SKTKS is getting acclaimed by viewers and it will be interesting to see how it performs on weekdays. What do you say?
