Despite the small budget, SRK and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi has won the hearts of audience. On the 1st two days, the movie collected 20 crores and this had set high expectations for Sunday.
On Friday, the collections were good i.e. 8.75 crores and then, there was a strong growth on Saturday with 11.25 crores. Strong word of mouth and positive reviews from critics helped the movie earn good numbers. Let us see how much the movie has minted on its 3rd day;

Well, the movie collected 12.50 crores on Sunday, which is just so fabulous. With the total reaching 32.50 crores, the production budget of the film has been covered. The movie has had a stellar opening weekend not only in India but also in overseas markets. Romantic dramas are always accepted well and same is the case with Dear Zindagi.
Initial critical responses were a tribute to highly acclaimed performance by Alia and star power of SRK. Moreover, people were very curious for the movie, because it was a Gauri Shinde venture, the one who made English Vinglish.
The opening weekend collections of Dear Zindagi surpass the first week collections of Force 2 i.e. 30.12 crores. Let us see how the movie does in the coming week.
