The famous director SS Rajamouli is currently busy in promoting his animation series, “Baahubali: Crown of Blood” which is obviously inspired by his Baahubali series and during an event in Hyderabad, he made it clear that they are looking for different ways and mediums to expand the Baahubali franchise.
He said that when a brand is created in the West, they go multi-media way; he added that they tried by making games, VR game and a series as well but nothing worked as per the expectations. Rajamouli further said that though it took time, they were able to find right people for the job and it was difficult for him and others to hand over the things to creator Sharad but a great job has been done.
He said that Baahubali will go forward with not just the animation series but with many other ways and mediums but this is not the right platform to talk on this issue.
Rajamouli also said that in the future he will make movies which will help him in entering new areas. He said that he was thinking of making animation movie for a long time. He also stated whether it was making of Eega or his association with Disney Hotstar, these things help him learn and develop new skills.
Talking about the audiences of animation movies, Rajamouli said that such movies were being watched housefull with people clapping, laughing and enjoying the film just like any other movie, it is just the makers should be able to make people connected with the movie and its content.
Baahubali: Crown of Blood will release on 17 May 2024 on Disney Hotstar, are you excited for it?
