Bollywood stars are popular for living a colourful life. They play some really romantic characters onscreen and it leaves an impact on their real life as well. What happens is they end up falling up in love with their co-stars.
While it’s not a problem for unmarried actors, when already married actors fall in love with co-actors, they have no option other than keeping the relationship in dark.

1. Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha
Amitabh Bachchan & Rekha were rumoured to be dating each other while shooting a film together. Amitabh was already married to Jaya so the couple used to meet secretly. However, they soon broke up because Amitabh was not ready to leave his family.
2. Raj Kapoor and Nargis
Raj Kapoor and Nargis did almost 16 films together and were in love with each other. Raj Kapoor was already married to Krishna Kapoor but couldn’t stop himself from being smitten by Nargis’ beauty.
Nargis got married to Sunil Dutt later when Raj Kapoor refused to marry her and leave his family.
3. Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia
There were strong rumours of Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia dating each other despite both of them being married. Sunny Deol’s ex-girlfriend Amrita Singh had said about Dimple-
“I think she’s having her cake and eating it too. She’s got nothing to lose and most importantly, she’s got her guy where she wants him. So what if it’s not heading anywhere? When you’ve already lived a life, you are happy with a relationship that’s at status quo.”
4. Govinda and Rani Mukerji
Govinda was having an affair with Rani Mukerji despite being married to Sunita Ahuja. Reportedly, Govinda was also caught inside Rani Mukerji’s room in nightwear as a journalist went there to take her interview.
The relationship created problems in Govinda’s married life and he finally went for his wife.
5. Mithun Chakraborty and Sridevi
While there is no concrete proof of it, Sridevi and Mithun Chakraborty had a strong affair. Reportedly, they even got married to each other in 1985 but the marriage could last only 3 years.
The reason behind the break up of Sridevi and Mithun was said to be the increasing closeness of Sridevi and Boney. At the same time, Mithun’s wife Yogeeta Bali also attempted suicide.
6. Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra
Though Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra never admitted but the rumours of their affair were doing rounds for a long time. Aditya left his childhood love and wife Payal Khanna for Rani and married her in 2014. Both of them have a 2-year-old daughter named Adira.
7. Akshay Kumar & Priyanka Chopra
Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra worked together in several films and were rumoured to have a relationship. The affair affected the married life of Akshay due to which both of them stopped working with each other.
8. Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit
Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit who did several films together were one of the hottest couples of 90’s. Reportedly they were also planning to get married but Sanjay’s arrest in 1993 case ended their relationship.
9. Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan
The reports of Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan’s affair have been floating around for quite some time now. After Malaika Arora Khan got divorced from her husband Arbaaz Khan, the rumours just got stronger.
10. Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra was also said to be dating Shah Rukh Khan. There were also reports which suggested that SRK and Priyanka got married in Toronto.
