Before leaving for Sri Lanka, the skipper of England cricket team Joe Root announced that his team members won’t be shaking hands with each other due to coronavirus. Instead of handshakes, the England players will be using fist bumps for greeting each other and it becomes more important for the England cricketers to keep themselves safe after the horrifying tour of South Africa.

Joe Root says that keeping in mind the manner in which many of his teammates suffered with gastroenteritis and flu in South Africa, it is very necessary that they keep physical contact to the minimal so that the spread of germs and viruses can be kept in check. He also told that their medical staff has given them some good tips, such as washing hands regularly and cleaning the surfaces with wipes and gels which are a part of their immunity packs.

Considering the fact that coronavirus is spreading at a very high pace, such precautions are pretty essential but it seems that England cricketer Stuart Broad is not in the mood to take this piece of advice seriously.

Stuart Broad posted a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which he showed a news story which was about Joe Root’s instructions, he then shifted the camera towards Root and offered him a handshake and the skipper showed that he is not happy with it.
