Initially surprised, she soon realised that they had watched her on television, even showing her a clip of herself speaking Thai, which she found hilariously surreal.
Despite her long-standing association with Kapil Sharma’s shows, Sumona was not part of The Great Indian Kapil Show, his latest venture. Rumours suggested that she had been excluded from the project without prior notice, fueling speculations about fallout. However, Sumona later clarified that these claims were baseless. She explained that The Kapil Sharma Show had simply concluded in July of the previous year and each cast member subsequently moved on to their respective projects. While she chose to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania, Kapil Sharma pursued his new show. She firmly stated that there was no ill will between them, emphasising their previous collaborations and her continued respect for him.
