There are many rumors that Sunny Deol wishes to launch Karan Deol, his elder son in Bollywood. He started his filmy career with ‘Betaab’ in the year 1983 and now after almost 30 years, he wants Karan to kick start his career with Betaab’s sequel, ‘Betaab Again’. Moreover, the director of this film would be none other than Sunny Deol.
Sunny Deol would have launched Karan long back, but he was waiting for a good script. Now, when he went through the script of ‘Betaab Again’ he immediately decided to finalize Karan for the same.
Another interesting piece of news is that, Sunny wanted Sara Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan to play the female lead. We all know that, Sara is the daughter of Saif and his ex-wife Amrita Singh.
In the original ‘Betaab’ Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh were the leads and now, for the sequel, Sara was the preferred choice for the female lead since she looks exactly like her mother.
However, this didn’t work out. As per reports, Sunny Deol had approached Amrita Singh to ask if Sara could be cast as the female lead, but she refused.
She said that Sara has already entered into a contract with Dharma Productions for a film and hence, she can’t make it.
