The race between YouTuber PewDiePie and the Indian music company T-Series ended with the latter surpassing the former and the Swedish YouTuber also released a video, accepting his defeat.
However, now this matter is taking a legal route as the Supreme Court of India has asked YouTube to remove two videos from its platform in which PewDiePie has been making racist and offensive comments against India and Indians.
In fact, in the same video in which he accepted his defeat, he also took a jibe at poverty in India along with the caste system of the country. Not only this, he insulted another brand using very vulgar and cheap language as well.
The Supreme Court has asked YouTube to take strict action against PewDiePie after a petition was filed against him in the court and now it is being said that one more complaint will be filed in order to make a demand of imposing ban on his channel as he has been promoting white supremacy.
PewDiePie has also mocked T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar over tax evasion and for selling pirated CDs.
However, it is not the first time that PewDiePie has made insulting comments about India and its citizens but this time, it seems that the Supreme Court is not in a mood to take it lightly.
Have you seen those videos? If so, what is your take with regard to the matter? Let us know.
