Suryakumar Yadav Relives His Maiden T20I Fifty By Watching It On Phone, Video Is Going Viral

The 5-match T20 series which was played between India and England came to an end yesterday after the Indian cricket team defeated the visitors in the fifth and final T20 match and also won the series by 3-2. The series was certainly a great one from the point of view of the Indian side as India not only won it but also tried few players keeping in mind the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup later this year.

The 30 years old Suryakumar Yadav, who was knocking on the doors of the national selectors for quite a long time keeping in mind his brilliant performance in the domestic circuits and the IPL, was also included in the team for this series. Surya was included in the playing eleven for the second T20I but he didn’t get the chance to bat and then he was dropped from the team in order to make space for Hitman Rohit Sharma.

But luck favoured him soon and he was again selected for the fourth T20I as Ishan Kishan was injured. This time, Suryakumar Yadav was promoted up the order; he used the opportunity to the maximum by hitting 57 runs of just 31 deliveries and helped his team in winning the match by 8 runs.

After the match, Surya enjoyed one of the most memorable moments of his life again by watching it on the mobile phone and this was captured by his wife Devisha Shetty. Now this clip is going viral in which his wife is saying, “This guy is crazy. After every match, he comes and he watches the match again on his phone or TV. Mad.”

In the fifth T20, Surya once again performed well and scored a quick 32 in just 17 balls and his innings included 3 fours and 2 sixes. It won’t be wrong to say that Suryakumar Yadav has certainly proved his worth in the limited chances that he got and if he performs well in the IPL 2021, his berth in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup will definitely get confirmed.

All the best SKY!
