Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian cricketer is undoubtedly one of the best batters when it comes to T20I format but in ODI cricket, he has failed to prove himself despite getting good number of chances and situation is pretty same in the ODI series against West Indies as well.
SKY as his fans love to call him, scored 19 runs and 24 runs in the first 2 ODIs and he has played 17 ODIs without scoring a fifty which is pretty disappointing as per his standards. While the Indian cricket fans are not happy with the performance of Suryakumar Yadav, he irritated some by the comments that he made for Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the second ODI.
The incident took place during the 29th over of the West Indian innings and the hosts were 48 runs away from the win. Kuldeep Yadav was bowling the over and at that time, SKY was heard telling him that he is their Kachra (reference to a character from the movie Lagaan). Aamir Khan starrer Lagaan had a character Kachra who was a spinner and he played an important role in Aamir’s win.

Though Kuldeep Yadav didn’t react on this comment, some online users didn’t like it and they expressed their annoyance in this manner:

The third ODI will be played tomorrow at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba and many feel that it will be the last chance for Suryakumar Yadav to prove his worth in ODIs because most probably both Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will return in the squad before the Asia Cup 2023.
