Sushant Singh Drops His Surname “Rajput” To Support Bhansali’s Padmavati!

Bollywood suffered a big jolt when a group of anti social goons raided the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and vandalised it completely. They slapped Sanjay Leela Bhansali before assaulting the whole of his crew separately. They just didn’t stop there and went on to vandalise the complete set causing a massive loss to the film makers.

The protesters claimed that the movie, based on one of Rajasthan’s most significant Queens, Rani Padmavati, is distorting the facts and will be a misleading example for the masses. The censor board is in place to resolve issues like these. By simply going out and spreading violence, the protesters only created a complete mockery of the Indian system. Apart from that, they even went on to hurt the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali physically, which is all the more terrible and unacceptable.

The biggest issue was however the attack on Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Film makers and Actors are considered as celebs and thus an attack on them for whatever reason completely thwarts the base of our system. If one person from Bollywood can be attacked, simply anyone else from Bollywood can be attacked too. Thus, to save their own integrity, it is high time for Bollywood to stand United in support of each other.

Understanding this necessity, one of the most loved actors of Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput came up with a strange way to support Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also show his protest against the terrible act of violence from the protesters. Sushant dropped his Surname from his twitter handle, which was formerly ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’, and renamed it to just ‘Sushant’. He came up with a series of tweets to show how disgusted he was at this and also expressed his anger. When Bhansali got attacked on his own sets, twitter was not a safe place anymore for Sushant either. Twitteratis criticised him and made him all the more furious.

This is what Sushant had to say

Twitteratis only exemplified the growing intolerance and came up with these shocking replies!

Sushant failed to control his anger after all this and blasted one twitterati severely through his reply

We just hope this adaptation of violent ways for their own means stops asap and our democracy and integrity remains intact for ages to come. Do let us know your views about this act of support from Sushant and also about the hatred that these protesters are spreading through their violence.
