Former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen is one of the most beautiful women of the world and it won’t be wrong to say that as she’s getting older, she is becoming even prettier. However, Indian society has never been able to digest the fact that a ‘single’ lady can be so successful, happy and independent. WTF!
The bitter irony in our country is that as a girl crosses the age of 30 and is unmarried, everyone starts questioning as to why she is still single.
Politician Rahul Gandhi and actor Salman Khan can be called the most eligible bachelors of India at the age of 46 and 51, respectively but people are having problem with the fact that Sushmita, who is also a mother of two, is still single at the age of 41. However, she has now learnt to answer such questions and that too, with flair and style.
Sushmita finally decided to speak her mind on Instagram where she uploaded a pic of herself and wrote,
“WHY STILL #SINGLE they ask??? WHY NOT? I answer ‘I AM’ secure in my choice and in being so, I can respect and appreciate another’s choice..whatever it may be!!!❤ After all, “singles or doubles, we play to win” ❤As for me, let’s just say, “I am yet to meet that SIRE, who loves to play with FIRE”.”
