Bollywood is all about giving engaging and creative movies. The industry was once known for coming up with some classy hits which gripped the audience and won their hearts. No doubt, some movies surpass our expectations, but then, there are some which claim to be HUGE but are 0 in terms of content.
Yes, these days the movies that are being released aren’t matching the expectations of audience. Some are way too disappointing. What’s more unfortunate is that huge amounts are being spent on movies but the output is not that great as it should be.
Somewhere, movies lack in content, good script and good performances, which is why the collections get affected. At the end, audience is blamed for lesser collections.
Is this justified? Who is to be blamed? The content or the audience? Well, Taran Adarsh has the answer to it. He has slammed Bollywood for coming up with such flops every time.
Check out his series of tweets; this time, he has given a perfect logic
The Hindi film industry is going through a turbulent phase. What's scary/worrisome is that a majority of films are non-starters at the BO.

Instead of blaming the content, we are blaming the audience for staying away. Really, is the audience to blame? Or should we look within?

The viewer is staying away from substandard stuff. Why will they dig into their pocket, spend their money on films that doesn't excite them?

While most Hindi films are taking a beating at BO, non-Hindi films [Punjabi, South, Marathi, Bengali, Hollywood] are getting the numbers.

Ratio of flops is at an all-time high. For every Hit/success, we follow it up with a string of flops. Time to introspect. Time to get real!

Don’t you agree with Taran Adarsh this time? He has indeed explained everything so logically and practically, isn’t it?
