Tarek Fatah Slams An Orthodox Pakistani For Calling Hijab “A Way Of Living” On Twitter

Not only the world but also Muslims have been divided on the subject of wearing hijab and burka by Muslim ladies as several people consider it compulsory as per the Quran and Islam while some other are of the opinion that these rules have been made by the Mullahs for their own self-interests and Quran has not said anything in this connection which makes it non-compulsory for Islam followers.

An orthodox Pakistani made a tweet saying that wearing the hijab is a “way of life”. This didn’t go well with Tarek Fatah and he slammed the Twitterati. The original tweet was however deleted but this is what Tarek tweeted in response:

Another user then asks Tarek Fatah to establish the fact whether it is compulsory for the ladies to wear hijab and burka as per the Islam or it is just one more command of mullahs:

He shared his opinion over the wearing of hijab by the ladies:

As per him, the custom of wearing hijab and burka is made by the Mullahs and not by the Quran. With Islamists, he meant those followers of Islam who are promoting violence all over the world which is, in actual, against the teachings of Quran.

However, one person comes up with a proof that hijab is mentioned in Quran:

One of the users also talked about the roots of Islamic culture:

Hijab is a sort of headscarf which is usually worn by Shia Muslim women while burka is a garment which covers a lady from head-to-toe and it is usually worn by Sunni Muslim women.
