Team India’s Head Coach Ravi Shastri Opens Up On Rift Between Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma

The Indian cricket team had a great West Indian tour and now they will be clashing with South Africa at home. Virat Kohli has become the most successful Indian captain as he has 28 wins under his name as the captain in test matches.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma performed superbly in the World Cup 2019 as he scored five centuries in the tournament. However, there were reports that after the disappointing exit of India from the World Cup, Virat and Rohit are not on talking terms.

It was also reported that two groups have been formed in the team and one group is quite unhappy with the captain and the coach. Virat was slammed by the fans of Rohit Sharma after he preferred Hanuma Vihari over Rohit in the test matches despite the fact that Rohit was in superb form.

When Ravi Shastri was asked about these rumours, he said that they are absolutely nonsense.

The head coach says that he has been with the team for five years now and he knows what is happening in the dressing room.

As per him, if things had not been fine, how Rohit could have scored five centuries and how they both have put up partnerships together.

Ravi Shastri further adds that the true facts have been ignored and all the good things that are happening have been overlooked. He is of the opinion that people are creating fantasies in their minds and believing that they are true. He goes on to say that he has attended some public events and public is overwhelmed with the way the team is performing.

India will be playing against South Africa from September 15 and we are quite sure that the Indian team would like to continue from where they had left in West Indies.
