SRK’s Raees has been surrounded by all sorts of controversies. Already, there were too many delays in the release, after which the movie finally got a date i.e. Republic day 2017. Then, the issue was that it would clash with ‘Kaabil’, the Hrithik Roshan starrer. Some made speculations that SRK would shift the release date again to avoid the clash, but this didn’t happen.
However, once again the release of the movie has been hampered due to political reasons. Yes, IMPPA banned Pakistani actors from working in Indian movies, and since Mahira Khan is essaying the lead role in Raees, it is in deep trouble.
After this ban there have been too many speculations; some say Mahira Khan would be replaced, while some say that the release would happen on the said date, without any change in the star cast; God knows what will happen! Media is making a hype of every small bit of information that it is getting, which is proving to be disastrous for ‘Raees’ makers.
Now, to avoid all such speculations, Raees team has come up with a strict rule. Yes, Excel Entertainment (Producer) and SRK have made the team members sign a secrecy pact! Wondering what is this secrecy pact? Well, it is sort of an agreement which they have signed with the unit; as per the clause, no one is allowed to leak any information about the movie to the media . If found guilty, the member will have to sacrifice on his payment; this is indeed a big monetary loss.
Already, a lot of rumors are being spread about the movie; this secrecy pact might definitely help a lot. Leakage of information would further add to the troubles and hence, as a safety precaution, the makers introduced this secrecy agreement.
