The uproar that India did when the Nirbhaya case came to highlight, is what has become a requirement everyday. Because no matter even if the culprits are punished, the crime has not stopped or may be will never stop. Another such case of inhuman act has occurred in the Uttar Pradesh, where a teenage girl of 14 was found gang raped. The incident took place in Badaun, which came to highlight when two cousins were found hanging dead.
As per the report, three men, who are reportedly the neighbours, forced the girl to drink, which left her unconscious and after which they gang raped the girl. A medical test was conducted where it was found that a matchbox, cloth, plastic, and an inch long piece of wood have been inserted in her private parts.
The girl in her statement said, “I had gone to buy biscuits and sweets in the morning, when a boy who lives next door told me that someone was waiting for me. When I went with him, two other boys joined him and tied me up. They took to me a field on a bike and committed the crime,” she said
The culprits even threatened to kill the girl, if she divulge this news. But after three days of suffering and shock the teenage girl finally confessed to her cousin about the incident, who helped her to file the complain against the neighbours.
The police was swift enough to take charge and the two culprits have been arrested. And, the third person is found missing.
