The Government Wont Let You Be In Peace, Will Monitor Facebook, Twitter Account of Yours

Seems like a phone network is following you, wherever you go, they are with you, but just the thing is it’s not your service provider but our very own government. YES. The Indian government has decided to break all the barriers and encroach your personal space. As per the reports, government will shut all the so-called ‘negative news’ and bare everyone to express it in social platforms, be it through Facebook or any blog post.

(*This article might be getting monitored then*)

“The government will keep a watch on the narrative in all such threads. Every time a negative narrative surfaces, a possible counter would be initiated—through press releases, briefings or press conferences, depending on the intensity or standing of the post,” said anonymous source.

A proposal to ensure large-scale tracking and monitoring of ‘negative’ content has been sent to the Press Information bureau. Earlier the PMO has guided it’s ministries to take action on media reports which shows government in negative light. This rude shock came in a month after National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), which looks after India’s political, economic, energy and strategic security concerns, proposed that a National Media Analytics Centre (NMAC) should be created to monitor news on websites, blogs, television, newspapers and even social media outlets like Facebook and YouTube.

For the very same reason, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology in Delhi is developing a software to track the digital platforms. Thus, it is clear what ever you do, keep in mind the god-ernment is watching!!
