The “IIT Cracker” Dalit Brothers Pelted With Stone At Their Own Hometown

India is still dwelling with the curse of religion and caste which does nothing but divide the society and ruins the healthy which otherwise would have been build.

No matter how much advanced or up-to-date we become, but the problem seems to just persist deep inside and there is no solution to it as well. The Dalit Duo who cracked one of the most difficult exam in India, still had to face the humiliation at their hometown. People literally pelted stone at them on their arrival at the village.

Raju and Brijesh Saroj, were among the Top 500 scorers. Being a son of a daily wage worker Dharamraj, they already had to fight to get proper education and now even after making the village and the parents proud they are fighting the social and caste stigma attached with them for belonging to Dalit caste.

Despite the national leaders have taking note of their problem and providing them with all the amenities to get proper education. Dalit families have already faced discrimination and violence for centuries, but this comes as a shock, we are at 21st century and people still abide by the social stigma and judge people as per the caste they belong to.

Interestingly the two brother, who made it to through the IIT exams have always been brilliant students and never scored below 90% in the academic qualifications.

It really terrifies that people are still following the age-old social evil and don’t bother to see the achievement and the matter of pride hidden behind such issues.

What do you have to say about the matter?
Is there any way matters can get better handled?
