The Next ‘Star Wars’’ Episode 9 To Be Shot In SPACE?

Colin Trevorrow, the director who has been signed to direct the ninth film of the “Star Wars” series has given a hint that he may shoot some scenes of the movie in the space. While talking to the crowd at a panel in Sundance Film Festival, he stated, “I asked the question, ‘Is it possible for us to shoot IMAX film plates in actual space for Star Wars?’ I haven’t gotten an answer yet but they’ve shot IMAX in space!”

Rian Johnson has just begun the shooting of Star Wars 8 so it seems Colin has a lot of time to decide and plan out for shooting in space as he has formally asked for taking his camera in the International Space Station. One more director who was also on the panel, Christopher Nolan, disclosed that he too had “that conversation” while he was shooting for Interstellar and he termed the NASA footage in the movie as “incredible.”

Let us just hope that Colin gets his wish fulfilled!
