With power comes responsibility is what we all have learnt but not our shrewd politicians. For them, with power comes super-power to do what ever the hell they feel like. At least the video proves so.
The video was uploaded by Aam Aadmi Party in their Facebook page, which read:
“Madhya Pradesh’s Animal Husbandry Minister Kusum Mehdele kicked aside a teenage beggar who was asking her for alms yesterday, in a shocking and disturbing display of arrogance of power and hubris. This unfortunate intoxication of power has become symptomatic of the BJP in recent times.
Dignity and respect is a basic human right that each individual deserves. The Minister has stepped on the dignity of all those poor, helpless and marginalized people of this country who are suffering because of the BJP’s poor governance, both in Madhya Pradesh and in the Centre.
Aam Aadmi Party condemns the Minister’s deplorable act and demands the immediate removal of the Minister. If the BJP cannot provide a helping hand to the underprivileged, the least it can do is treat them with dignity. This kind of behaviour is reminiscent of a feudal mindset that many in the party seem to have developed.”
Don’t you think such inhuman behavior towards the less fortunate shows how inconsiderate these people are? How will they take care of the society when they can provide alms to the poor?
