A mother can go to any heights and do anything for her child; this statement is aptly true for not only humans but also animals. And an elephant mother has proved that like human beings love their kids, animals also get panicked if anything happens to their children.
In Olaro Motorogi Conservancy in South West Kenya, a baby elephant got injured by a poacher’s snare as he was dragging the snare that has stuck to his hind leg and it was noticed in a routine patrolling by the employees of the conservancy.
The SkyVets from David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Kenya Wildlife Service darted the baby elephant with anesthesia in order to treat him but as he laid unconscious, his mother tried her best to move him and did not allow anyone to come near. Then she was also darted with anesthesia so that the baby could be treated.
