Have you ever heard that students protested without a rally or noise or any kind of violence? If not, this article is what you surely read!
There were over a hundred students who participated in a different and unique kind of protest called ‘kissing protest’ for demanding education reform. This protest took place in Santiago, Chile, as part of continual protest regarding standard and cost of education. Many pairs of students studying pursuing high school and college were seen lip locking opposite Metropolitan Cathedral which was a sight so surprising that compelled people walking by to stop and see. Undoubtedly, it was arousing but shocking too on the part of children as well as oldies. Also there were few bystanders who commended the act on the other hand.
This kissing protest gave a comical and hilarious touch to the protest, offering a retreat from police crackdowns, violence, etc. The same kind of kissing protest occurred once again where students demanded for more unbiased and better quality education.
