This Is How Twitter Reacted On Announcement Of 50K Pension To Amitabh & Jaya By UP Govt - RVCJ Media

On Tuesday, the UP government announced a pension of Rs.50,000 per month to all the awardees of Yash Bharti Samman, and as per this announcement, the Bollywood actor and Legend Amitabh Bachchan , his wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan will also receive the lifetime pension of Rs.50000 per month.

Yash Bharti Samman is the highest honor of Uttar Pradesh, it was started in 1994 and whenever Samajwadi Party got out of power it was scrapped. Amitabh and Jaya received the award in 1996 while Abhishek received it in 2006.

However, “with all humility”, all the three awardees and members of Bachchan family have requested the UP government to give this money to the “poor and needy”, rather than giving them.

This is what Amitabh Bachchan said on Wednesday, “Whereas I respect the UP Govt’s honor of the Yash Bharti Award to members of my family, and their decision as per reports in the press, for providing pension of Rs 50, 000 per month to each recipient, I am requesting the UP Govt., with all humility, to redirect the entire amount designated for my family towards any noble charitable scheme or cause that benefits the poor and the needy.”

Big B also said that he will be writing a letter soon to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav regarding this purpose.

The twitter gave mixed reactions to this announcement of the UP government, let’s have a look at some of the tweets:
