Airlift is based on the true story of India’s biggest evacuation operation conducted in Kuwait to bring 1,70,000 Indians back home after Iraq invaded Kuwait. Airlift has stormed the box office as it has already earned Rs. 44 crore in the first weekend after its release on 22nd January.
